This project started
out at a workshop in Mexico where Jodi found herself more interested in
photographing the local dogs than the people. Although she enjoys
photographing people, she also feels an extremely strong connection with
animals. She combines her love of animals with her passion for
photography in this project.
Jodi is making an effort to convey the story and
personality of each dog or group of dogs. In doing so she is attempting
to give these dogs a voice. Through her background as a Veterinary
Technologist and having five pets of her own, Jodi has experienced first
hand how much dogs can contribute to people’s lives. They can help
people to become more calm, understanding, open and involved.
Enjoy the “Fuzzy Dog Project” and keep in mind just what
an important role these animals play in our lives…
